During the first half of 2014, I have finished a number of pieces which will be ready for my first exhibition at an art gallery in Pretoria. I will give some more details on this in the next few weeks. At the end of 2014, I have moved to a new home with a new workshop. This was quite a job and eventually I managed to get the first piece of wood on the lathe. It is a piece of wild olive (as in the photo). The plan is a hollow form with lots of holes. It will be interesting to see what comes out and whether I can keep the piece together in one piece.
